Billy uses:

National Resonator guitars with Dave King hum cancelling pickups. He currently runs a Style'O' re-issue and a vintage 1930's Triolian.

A Norman (Art & Lutherie) acoustic, with a Seymour Duncan mag / mic pickup installed. The action & nut both set up for lap slide.

Japanese made Fender Strats all with Seymour Duncan hot rails at the bridge pick up, both 50's and 60's re-issues.

A Gibson Les Paul Standard

Prefers Marshall Amplification, but is also using a small Laney VC30 valve combo at the moment.
